Got poked by Dr. Yang, bled a little, don't really feel any different, didn't fall asleep, music was peaceful, two more sessions scheduled for next week, hope this works, peace.

Workin' Hard

Sometimes you're faced with a task that really doesn't seem too daunting from the outside, but then when you begin looking a little deeper, you realize how monumentally screwed you are. I'm supposed to produce some kind of written medical history for crazy needle lady, 1999-2009. Every drug, every dosage, every test, every syncopal episode. It's gonna be a heck of an afternoon. I may need to blow off some steam tonight, if anyone's interested in getting together somewhere in the frozen wasteland.

Ambivalence

I get very stir crazy sitting in my house all the time but I'm seriously becoming terrified that I'm going to turn my brains into scrambled eggs at the rate I'm going. I'm running low on ideas, and I refuse to wear a bike helmet when I go out for walks. I just can't do it. If this acupuncture thing doesn't yield results, I don't know what I'm going to do. I feel like I've been chasing my own tail for the past thirteen months, and really, the past nine and a half years.

Kraft Foods Believes in Alternative Medicine, And Thus Believe in ME!

On Friday afternoon, I am going in for my first (and possibly last) acupuncture session in Gahanna. A woman named Wang is going to stick needles in me to try and undizzy my head. Yep. I'm willing to literally try anything at this point.

On a serious note, I actually know several people who have reported good results from this treatment, so fingers crossed and all that. Hopefully it'll be worth it to risk the death of a thousand papercuts.

Here's your wacky wrestling rumor of the day, courtesy The Man, The Myth, The Mullet, Dave Meltzer. We may be in for Chris Jericho versus MICKEY ROURKE at Wrestlemania. In a wrestling match. Yes. I don't know how I feel about this yet.

Fedor Emelianenko is the greatest man I've ever seen in any athletic endeavor. Better even than Jay Burson or Eric Keith Davis. In celebration of Fedor's first round knockout of the Doof From Belarus Andrei Arlovski, join me in honoring him in pictures!

The Sun is Gonna Surely Shine

Every once in a while, something comes out on DVD that catches me completely off-guard.

SEASONS ONE AND TWO! How can one possibly react to that!?


WHOA!

Of course, this will probably be much like when Doogie Howser was released on DVD and I went on to do absolutely nothing about it.

Oh, and to heck with the vast majority of Columbus, Ohio sports bars for opting not to show the Affliction pay per view tonight. Fedor can kill men with or without me watching, but still, I really wanted to see it. Plus, Josh Barnett might give a Dutch man a Michinoku Driver.

Bummer

I just had one of those dreams where you wake up and it's all still very hazy and the line between the waking world and the dream world is blurred and you think it all might have happened. It didn't. I wish it had. It was all sexy and whatnot. No matter. The Future Ex-Mrs. Napier will be mine some day!

We Can Do It!

The 22nd annual ROYAL RUMBLE is on Sunday, and I for one, am greatly excited. I'm very intrigued by the John Cena versus JBL and Shawn Michaels storyline, and Jeff Hardy versus Edge should be a VERY good match. Beyond that, the Rumble itself is almost always entertaining and this year there is no real obvious winner going in, which makes things more fun as well.
