Never let it be said that I don't think "Friends in Low Places" is a serious jam, but this quote is right on and pretty much the most awesome thing to ever come out of anyone's mouth in the history of speech.

yay for Waylon Jenning's blunt observation. and yay for "Rescue Me", which has nothing to do with anything, other than i just saw a commercial for season 2. boo for "Deadwood" being over until next season, which also has nothing to do with anything, except i think they may have used a Waylon Jennings song for the end credits once. i'm just feeling chatty right now.
Oh yeah, I (or Andy or Lee) forgot to explain ruta-fayga. I think it happened when I was still living at the Mannhaus. Franz had just gotten back from dinner with his dad, and he told us that one of the things they had was rutabagas. Lee, of course, to show the absurdity of such a dish, said, "More like rutafaygas!" He then proceeded to say it many more times. Hilarious.
